“Ambarlı Port” is a freight port located in the Beylikdüzü district of Istanbul, Turkey. It is the country’s largest port in terms of container volume and the fifth largest in terms of cargo tonnage.
The port, which has the hinterland of Istanbul and Marmara Region, can also be used as a transit port for cargoes going to Black Sea ports.
It also carries the distinction of being one of the few ports in Turkey where ships larger than 300 meters go. The port, which was put into service in 1994, is the first private port of Istanbul.
The Ambarlı Port complex includes six independent port operation terminals, a land platform and a filling facility terminal.
Akçansa, Limak, Total Oil, Kumport, Marport (Main and West Terminal) Mardaş ports serve. Each port has its own characteristics and business volume.
